LCSC is a traveling club which participates in games and tournaments throughout South Carolina and in various parts of the Southeast. Typically, on any given weekend, you may find one or more of our teams playing in any one of six states – South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia. On occasion, we have had teams travel as far as Oklahoma and Arkansas, for major regional tournaments.
LCSC is a registered 501(c) (3) organization, so most contributions of cash or in-kind services are tax deductible (please consult with your tax advisor).
In addition to our own travel, LCSC frequently hosts teams from Charleston, Greenville, Spartanburg, Myrtle Beach, Rock Hill and other cities and towns in South Carolina, who travel to Lexington for matches on weekends. Because of our central location, over 60% of statewide games are played in the Columbia area, offering LCSC sponsors an opportunity for additional exposure at our fields, even when our teams are not traveling.
In addition to frequent visitors from South Carolina, LCSC has played host to teams from Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh and Savannah, and we annually host Olympic Development tryouts and training sessions where the highest rated players from throughout the state come for a chance to make the state Olympic Development Team.
