LCSC United
99 Girls White
This team played up at U13 Challenge level in fall and spring & placed 3rd in State during SCYSA Challenge Cup finals! Way to play girls & way to develop the team Coach Ken!
This talented group of select players is comprised of 15 spunky girls who love to play soccer! The team competed in the SC State Challenge League at the U13 Girls Challenge level against 10 other teams this fall and against 12 other teams this spring. The team ranked #3 of 12 in spring season, won their prelminary round game, then went to state cup losing only 1-0 on Saturday against the team that became the champs. This was intended to be a developing year for our players as the team moved from 8v8 to 11v11 competition and "played up" a year, but obviously the team learned at a rapid pace! Our team has grown over the years and earned the title of SCYSA State Champion at the top level for three years in a row!! Accordingly, this was a great year to watch the girls grow and develop at this higher level of play.

Coach Ken grew up playing soccer, continued playing in high school on a championship team at

Most recently, Coach Ken has also played in Lexington’s summer adult soccer league for the past two summers. His passion for the sport and skill at coaching soccer is evident on and off the soccer fields.
