Coach Ken’s Experience:  In addition to holding a USSF D license, this is Ken’s seventh year of coaching for LCSC and his ninth year as a coach of youth soccer.  Up until this year he also coached the Lexington United 96G White team, but has passed them over to another terrific coach so that he can fully focus his efforts on the 99G team this year.  In Aug. 2009, Coach Ken was honored as 2009 South Carolina Youth Soccer Association Girls Coach of the Year!! 

Coach Ken grew up playing soccer, continued playing in high school on a championship team at Newtown High School, earned experience (and money) as a youth soccer referee, and played soccer in college, too, at Furman University when FU won the Southern Conference in men’s soccer.  Most recently, Coach Ken has also played in Lexington’s summer adult soccer league for the past two summers.  His passion for the sport and skill at coaching soccer is evident on and off the soccer fields.
