Lexington United 96G

This is a Challenge level team that plays in the South Carolina State Challenge League (SCSCL) and embraces a more competitive, higher level of soccer. Currently the team is comprised of 15 girls who love to play soccer. The team has developed into a great force led by Coach Washburn. Originally formed as a U9 team, the Heat, it became the Fire as a U10 team and earned the title of division champs by the end of the year. As a result of such a winning record, the team skipped the U12 level and played U13 Classic for a year before moving to U13 Challenege in 2009-2010. The team is currently comprised of the original core group of players plus many more amazing girls who’ve joined the team to form Lexington United 96G White this year.
