At the annual meeting of the South Carolina Youth Soccer Association, Coach Ken Washburn was honored as the organization’s 2009 Coach of the Year!  An honor well deserved, Coach Ken was pleased to have been selected for his many years of dedicated hours towards coaching girls youth soccer in the Lexington area.  He began his coaching career at the recreational level and then moved to the club level when his oldest daughter decided to play for Lexington County Soccer Club.  Each year of coaching he has continued to work hard to develop the talents of the girls on his two teams (academy U10 & challenge U13 currently).  He teaches technical and tactical skills, so that each of his players can play up to their full potential.  Congratulations Coach Ken!!
