The team was formed in 2004 as a U9 team known as the STORM competing in the U10 league under the tutelage of Coaches Donna Chavarria and Carl Edwards. After a succesful transition from recreation program to classic the team was placed under Coach Gonzo’s management in the fall of 2005.
In 2005/2006 the young ladies were crowned SCYSA Kohl’s American State cup champions after going undefeated in the state tournament. During this year of development the ladies were introduced to higher level of play by participating in tournaments out of state.
In 2006/2007 season the team went undefeated in the regular season and captured honors in several tournaments. The ladies then turned their attention on the U11 Classic state cup and marched through the field including a shut-out in the final.
After two years of playing in their age bracket, the team with the club’s assistance decided to challenge the girls even further by placing them in the classic U13 age bracket in the regular season in the fall of 2007 and in the U13 Challenge division (highest level) in the Spring of 2008. In essence the ladies have skipped the U12 year to get better acclimated to the 11v11 competition, in the larger field, with the bigger ball. The club new naming parameter was applied and the team is now known as Lexington United 95G White.
In 2008/2009 season the team competed in the highest level in their age bracket, narrowly missing the SCYSA state cup final in a hearbreaking loss in the semis. The team will be applying for inclusion in the Region 3 Premier League East league for the Spring of 2010.
In the 2009 fall season the team finished number one in the league with a single loss in the first game of the season suffered via pk. After unsuccesfully applying for inclusion in the R3PL east league for the spring 2010 the ladies will be competing in the challenge league of SCYSA. Coach Adrian Pinasco has joined the team to take them to the next level of play, while coach Gonzo will continue assisting the team in various aspects.
In the Spring season of 2010 the ladies qualified #1 in the league and #3 seed for state playoffs, loosing in a windy state championship quarterfinals.
In the fall season of 2010 the ladies were crowned finalist in the Aiken cup and again qualified for state playoffs as #2 in the challenge League and #4 in the the state playoffs, Finishing the season as State Cup Semifinalists.
