Lexington United is a Boys Classic Soccer Team affiliated with the Lexington Soccer Club of Lexington South Carolina . The team consists of players born from August 1, 1989 through July 31, 1990. The team competes in the President’s Medal State Wide League, in the SC State Challenge League ( the highest level of competition in S.C.) and in Region III East Premier League .

    In addition to League Play, the team participates in 3-4 tournaments each season. Tryouts for the Team are held each May.

      The team is coached by Mark Berson (USSF A license), head coach of University of South Carolina Gamecocks, with a succesful coaching career as well as developing talent with players in various MLS teams and World Cup participants. Coach Berson is assisted by Coach Molinary, Coach Maslow (USC assistant coaches) and Gonzalo "Gonzo" Chavarria (USSF National C license). Alex Weatherly is the team manager.
