Lexington, SC : Lexington County Soccer Club has recently determined that continued growth among our youth players has created the need for a Director of Coaching in our u-9 through u-12 Academy Program.
As such, we are very pleased to announce that Adrian Pinasco has accepted this newly created position and will immediately assume responsibility for all u-9 through u-12 Academy teams. All Academy coaches in these age groups will report to Adrian, who will be responsible for mentoring coaches, overseeing their teams’ continued training and development, and managing the overall growth of the u-9 through u-12 Academy Division.
Adrian is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he played for the world renowned Boca Juniors and also served as an assistant coach for five years with Ferro Carril Oeste, in the Argentine Professional League.
Coach Pinasco has a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and a Masters Degree in Sports Physiology, with a focus on Soccer. He also has a second Masters Degree in Exercise Science from the University of SC, where he served as assistant men’s soccer coach for a number of years under Coach Mark Berson.
Most recently, while serving as head soccer coach at Beaufort Academy, his teams have won two State Championships and been runner-up two times. He has worked with professional, college, high school and club players and we are thrilled to have him join our club in order to work with our Academy players.

Ken Washburn, Vice-President for Classic Soccer Operations added, “the truly exciting thing for LCSC is that Coach Pinasco feels that he will add the greatest value to our club by working with the u-9 through u-12 aged players, which is why we wanted him in Lexington”.
