Great soccer skills are a necessity for anyone who wants to play soccer successfully. When players learn to master the ball they gain self-confidence and the ability to perform under pressure at higher levels of competition.
Learning to juggle will sharpen a player’s touch and will help win games while elevating players to a higher standard of game. The Soccer Badge Program is designed to help and encourage LCSC players to master a variety of juggling skills that will develop good “first touch” and ability to handle the ball efficiently. It is important that coaches and parents encourage players to take on this challenge to increase their ball handling skills which will ultimately increase their proficiency with the ball.
The objective of the Soccer Badge Program is to engage players and to take responsibility for their own development, regardless of their age. Our hope is that the badges will add an incentive and provide the impetus to challenge them to reach a new degree of excellence.

Starting ball from hands. Juggle 5 times |

Starting ball from hands. Juggle 12 times

Starting ball from hands. Juggle 25 times using variety of body parts |

Lift ball with foot. Juggle 50 times using variety of body parts |
| Level 5 Blue |
Lift ball with foot. Juggle 100 times using variety of body parts |

Lift ball with foot. Juggle 125 times using variety of body parts, but not same part twice in a row |
| Level 7 Black |
Around the world. Lift ball with foot. Juggle with both feet, and then both thighs, then both shoulders, then head, and back down through same body parts. |
| Level 8 Gold |
Around the world Soccer Star. Lift ball with foot, juggle with laces, then inside of feet, then outside of feet, then thighs, then both shoulders, then head, then catch on the back of neck. Flick ball off neck and repeat above in reverse. |
