Lexington County Soccer Club is located in Lexington, South Carolina. We are a "full-service" club which offers a range of playing options from Recreational, to Academy, to "Classic" or "Select" teams which travel and compete statewide or regionally. Recreational players play in our own, in-house league that consists of over 1,000 players ranging in age from u-4 to u-18. Academy teams range in age from u-9 to u-12 and compete in the South Carolina Sandlapper League. Classic/Select teams range in age from u-13 to u-18 and compete in the Palmetto Classic League, the PMSL Statewide League, the SC State Challenge League, or in the Region III East Premier League.

Lexington County Soccer Club is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer in central SC. LCSC seeks to develop players at all levels of play - Recreational, Academy, Classic, Challenge and Premier - through qualified coaches and instructional programs. LCSC is player centered and strives to insure that each player achieves their personal goals and plays to the highest level of their ability.

Recreational (u-4 to u-18) - This level of play is for younger players who are just starting out in learning the game of soccer, as well as for older players who are not planning to play in High School or College but wish to continue playing for love of the game and pure recreational purposes. Emphasis at an early age is on fundamentals of the game, technical soundness and an understanding of basic principals. Older age groups focus more on simply enjoying the sport. Teams can be mixed gender (co-ed) and games are played against other teams from the same age group, within the club.

Academy (U9 to U12) - This is the beginning level of play for select club soccer. Players are evaluated and placed in their player pool from which they are assigned to a team. All Players train together under the direction of team and academy coaches. Players play regularly scheduled games, thoughout central South Carolina and may particpate in several in-state tournaments per season. From time to time, players from one team may be requested to particpate in another team - particularly during tournaments.

Classic (U13 to U18) - This is the level of play that most clubs in SC compete in. Teams are based upon competitive tryouts and players are selected for a team by the coach, assisted by the Director of Coaching for the club. Classic Teams generally play 10 - 12 game, statewide league schedule. In addition teams may play as many as three tournaments (in SC or neighboring states) per season. Teams in the U13 and U14 age groups play both Fall and Spring. Teams U15 and higher play fall only as players in this age range normally play high school soccer in the Spring.

Challenge (U13 to U18) - This is the highest level of play within SC, and is generally reserved for the top eight teams, per age group, in the state. Teams are competitively selected by coaches and Directos of Coaching. They play a 10 - 12 game league scheduleand generally participate  in 3 to 4 regional tournaments per season. Tournaments are generally in SC and neighboring states, however teams will occasionally travel somewhat farther under certain circumsatnces.

Premier (U14 - U18) - Reserved for the top two teams, at each age level, in the state. Teams play regionally, in USYSA Region III East league, against the top teams from NC, SC, GA and FL.

Unless otherwise noted, all materials and publications, including web sites and emails, are protected as the copyrights, trade dress and/or intellectual properties owned by LCSC.  Such intellectual properties may not be reproduced or used by others without the express written permission of LCSC.  All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Trademarks
The LCSC name, trademarks, logos, services marks, brand identities, titles, trade names, graphics, designs and copyrights (collectively the “Trademarks”) are protected intellectual properties that are both registered and unregistered Trademarks of LCSC, its affiliates and others.  Nothing used on clothing, uniforms, publications, web sites or other materials shall be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, as a license or right to use any LCSC Trademark by third parties.

Lexington County Soccer Club Logo
The LCSC Club Logo is available for certain authorized usage by LCSC-affiliated teams and certain pre-authorized suppliers and vendors.  Unauthorized use of the LCSC Logo is strictly prohibited. 

LCSC Logo Usage
The LCSC Logo is to be recognized as the official club logo, and if used, it must be presented in its entirety without modification, on such merchandise and/or materials including but not limited to the following:

• Soccer uniforms and other apparel, bags, hats, pins, patches, etc.
• Press releases and newsletters
• Posters, banners, field boards
• Print or broadcast ads
• Electronic mediums, websites, on-site signage

• Registration forms, applications, etc.
• Marketing or informational brochures and materials 


Logo Usage for Commercial Purposes Requires Written Permission
The LCSC Logo is a valuable property of the LCSC, and revenues generated by sales of LCSC Logo-bearing items are strictly subject to the direction and control of LCSC.  LCSC-affiliated teams may NOT use the LCSC Logo for any commercial purpose whatsoever (i.e., the purchase or sale of shirts, jackets, caps, scarves, blankets, umbrellas or other items bearing the LCSC Logo) without first receiving the prior written permission of the appropriate individual or individuals authorized to grant such permission by the LCSC Board of Directors.   Note - Teams should not place purchase orders with vendors for any LCSC Logo bearing items prior to gaining written approval (which may be approved or denied) of LCSC.  Any written permission granted for such limited commercial purpose may be revoked at any time by LCSC for individuals or teams who do not adhere to LCSC policies.

Logo Use Specifications
The LCSC Soccer Club Logo must always be used in the same proportions. It is intended to be used as a unit, and it must not be altered or modified from its standard form.  All applications of the Logo must use all colors properly as outlined. No other colors may be substituted in a color rendition. For non-color renditions, either 100% black or 100% white is acceptable. If Logo is presented in 100% white, it can only be placed on a solid dark background. If Logo is presented in 100% black, it can only be placed on a solid light background. 

Club Sponsors
As LCSC acquires Club Sponsors, use of the club sponsor’s logo may be granted for marketing materials and apparel. Use/placement of the presenting sponsor’s logo is subject to the following:

• Sponsor logo usage must be submitted for approval prior to any use in conjunction with the LCSC Logo, LCSC Team Uniforms, or Team Banners and Tents.
• The size of the presenting Sponsor’s logo cannot be larger than the size of the LCSC Logo.
• Placement of both logos must be indicated when submitted.

Branded Apparel
The LCSC Logo is required on all club merchandise including but not limited to: Uniforms, T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, sweaters, hats etc. When screened or embroidered on apparel items, the Logo must be at least 2” wide.  For all apparel purchases or for fundraising wearable items, club sponsor merchandise must be used and supplied by an authorized vendor.

REMINDER - All described uses of the LCSC Logo in the foregoing guidelines for any commercial purpose whatsoever must receive the prior written approval of LCSC.
